Add New User to a Default User Group?

I'm using the UserGroups and GuestReg addons. I would like to have all new users automatically added to a specific UserGroup. I don't see any way to do that currently. I am manually adding them to the group prior to approving a new user. I'm not a coder so I need a simple solution if possible. Is a modification to one (or both) of these addons possible to accomplish this?
